Gentog Adult Daycare Program is now in Yamhill County! Our " Senior Club" is open in Newberg Youth Center (next to the Armory) on Mondays.
Our Senior Club is intended for seniors who live at home and require some supervision. Our activities are appropriate for people with mild to moderate dementia. Our spaces are handicap accessible. We can help with incontinence, but members must be able to bathroom with the assistance of just one person. Members requiring a 2-person assist, or members that might wander or be exit-seekers can be cared for in our Tigard Center only.
As is true in our full program in Tigard, we aim to nourish the mind, body and soul of our attendees each day. We also aim to have at least one intergenerational activity each day.
Our typical schedule will be:
10:00am - Welcome & Music
10:30am - Cognitive Wellness (Brain Games)
11:30am - Exercise
12:00 - Lunch & Conversation/Trivia
12:30pm - Special Events
1:15pm - Craft and/or Board Games
2:00pm - Snack / Faith Sharing
2:30 pm - Active Game
Session ends at 3:00
Our intergenerational activities will vary depending on our community volunteers. Typically the children will join us for exercise, games, cognitive wellness or art, depending on their ages.

Our hourly rate is $15 in Yamhill County programs (with a 2 hour minimum). We provide lunch for each full session. If your loved one will be with us for less than the full session, you may bring a sack lunch or purchase a lunch for $5. Either way, we will assist with serving - refrigerator and microwave available.
