We Heart Gentog
I needed respite care & Mom needed social interaction and stimulation. By age 94, dementia had robbed Mom of most of her memory, however she is always "in the moment". Because she is shy, quiet and of gentle spirit she is not much into watching TV, playing games or socializing.
How blessed we were to have found Gentog. The moment we walked through the doors so much love radiated from within that I also wanted to stay.
Gentog is Christ-centered, allows us to choose our own days and hours, and offers many other extra provisions. The staffing is abundant, loving, fun and funny. The meals and snacks provided are delicious and healthy. (Well maybe not all that cake!)
Because of Gentog Mom has become more social, loves reading to the children and adults, baking, arts & crafts, singing, dancing, and the mind stimulation games. Mom says "There is never a dull moment at Gentog." When I pick her up her heart is smiling as she says "See you tomorrow".
Thank you, Gentog.
