Gentog offers Senior Day Care Services to assist in caring for elderly parents, spouses and loved ones. Our adult day care services are ideal for situations where the elderly are unable to be left home alone during the day. We offer elder care services and assistance with daily needs such as nutrition, medication monitoring and personal hygiene (including incontinence assistance), along with emotional support from a caring staff.  

Gentog understands that care for seniors is about much more than providing a safe and caring environment. We provide many opportunities for social interactions with other seniors, with our staff and especially with the children that are cared for in our child care center. Our senior services include activities such as reading, games, craft activities, music and more. Seniors in intergenerational programs not only receive care, but they have a sense of giving back as they share their days with and have an opportunity to nurture children. 

Gentog's Adult Day Care Center includes a large community room for seniors only, a sitting room that overlooks the children's play area and a quiet library. We have internet stations in the library and game tables in the community room, as well as comfortable seating in all areas. We have a solarium where seniors can enjoy indoor gardening with the children. In our family room we have a "cozy corner" where reading times with the children are a daily activity. We have a fireplace with comfortable seating and a cafe where seniors can enjoy breakfast, snacks and lunch daily. 

We also offer bathing services in our special spa room that includes a walk-in tub.


Senior Services at Gentog provide preventative and/or protective services for adults who are not capable of fully independent living. Physically and/or mentally frail adults are able to continue living in their community, while respite is provided for their caregivers.
